Scanner Issues
If your scanner is not working, first check if it is powered on. After that, check the connection. Most scanners use physical USB connection although some scanners use ethernet or Wi-Fi connection.
If the paper keeps jamming, make sure you are not loading too many papers at once. If it keeps jamming, the roller might need to be replaced.
If the scanning software is not working, check if you are using the correct software for the particular scanner.
If the scans are not saving it to the correct local folder or shared folder, please contact the IT Help Desk for assistance.
If you are using a MFP (Multi-Function Printer) for scanning, the problems can be more complex. For instance, if the printer is in an error state, you will not be able to scan using the printer. This should be resolved by the IT Help Desk.
